The included hotel breakfast was okay. Great location, close to train and walking distance to times square
-
Amazing location, walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The hotel was clean

My room was much larger than I expected, and my request for a high floor was accommodated. I had a fantastic view of the Empire State building. Except for the neighbors who returned in the middle of the night very loudly, it was very quiet. The ac worked great and I liked that it had a remote control. I like that the windows can be opened (though it was too hot for me to do so when I was there).
Some tourists might not like the immediate neighborhood, which is wholesale/commercial that shuts down at night, but New Yorkers (including me, formerly) know it's a convenient location for many reasons. I appreciated the free breakfast, but the breakfast room was invariably crowded (and I dislike the tv being on), so I just picked up my coffee and a pastry and took it back to my room in the morning. The room decor is a bit outdated, but the size and cleanliness of the room trumped that in my opinion.
-
Location, near Penn Statiob was convenient.
Noisy neighboring roans.
-
Value for money - spacious room by NYC standards!
Decor is slightly outdated in communal areas and rooms.
-
The guest service was excellent and the room was nice and clean.
-
Our room was very comfortable. The staff very hospitable. The location was perfect for my trip to NYC.
-
hotel staff was very friendly. my room was extremely clean and so do all places at the hotel. no doubt that anybody who wants to have a nice vacation in new york can choose this hotel without hesitation.
-
I booked this room for my 82 year old mother who came up from Florida for medical treatment. The room was spacious for nyc. The bathroom was new. The hallways were new, marble and clean. The breakfast room was small, but there was a good selection of bagels, muffins, danish with coffee and tea that you were able to take back to your room

I found the service to be of an excellent standard. The staff were all very attentive, helpful and forthgiving of information and help. The Concierge at any given time of the day were more than helpful and obliging, often better than some of the 4 star hotels I have stayed in. Although the location may not seem in the heart of the city, this hotel is excellent in its proximity to all areas of New York and i would highly recommend it.
Not at all - helpful staff, clean room, nice view from the 13th floor and alwasy felt safe.
-
we were up-graded to a lovely suite.....extremely large. Beds very comfortable. Was a quick walk to major shopping areas.
the street was quite dark and deserted at night and we two women were glad that we took a taxi, but during the day the streets were busy with people
-
The Hotel is located between Times Square & Union and is about 10-15mins walk to either location. The Subway in just 1 block away and its 2 stops to these locations. The Rooms are quite large and spacious and are cleaned everyday. The heating worked well and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stored my luggage after check out and gave me access to freshen up before I left with me even asking for this.
The breakfast room is small and the range is limited, but other than that nothing wrong with the place. The area might seem a little lonely at night but it is safe.

The entire experience was pleasant. Great front desk man who must never sleep. He was there during our entire stay. Gracious and in charge of everything. Staff was just plain nice !Great location.Never stayed here before but will def return!
-
Excellent location directly on Broadway, very reasonable price We also got an upgrade to the King Suite with view of the Empire State Building... ;-)
